Get inspired by a real master of art during this winter weekend in November. Let morning pass into afternoon and evening, and perhaps into night, before letting the brush rest.

The artist Vebjørn Sand gives useful lessons while painting in the middle of the circle of artistic energy. Classical music fills the room with creative joy.

We make sure you have a soft bed, lovely food and refreshing drinks. You get artistic replenishment through teaching, lectures, music, conversations and thoughts about Rembrandt, among others.

Bring an easel, a small stool, everything you need to paint, and a white sheet. We will create a beautiful and artistic setting around the whole weekend. All you need to do is to paint. And enjoy.

Vebjørn Sand

Already as a young man he decided to pursue art. The classic and figurative. Sand is a graduate of the Norwegian Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo, the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and The Art Students League of New York. He has taken inspiration from, among others, Zorn, Rembrandt, Rubens and Titian. The palette is characterized by the expressive and the impressionistic.

The artist’s interest in history, philosophy and religion is often referred to in his paintings. Through several projects, he has lifted his art out of the studio. Most recently with the large project Roseslottet in Holmenkollen.
