Wine Festival

Stetten is a weekend with fantastic food and wine for life lovers. The weekend offers wine tastings and courses for beginners and onwards, wine-tasting with lightning-fast tastings at the restaurants in Geilo city centre, time in the mountains, fantastic dinners and a great wine fair in the heart of Geilo city centre, where you can taste your favorite wine.

Kari Innerå is the daily chef and general manager at the BA 53 restaurant in Oslo. She has previously run restaurant Cru and Mrs K. She has several medals from national and international chef competitions.

Here at Vestlia she will give us a taste of the book Innerå + Bø.

Gisle Børge Styve

Gisle Børge Styve’s trio will entertain us through the evening. They have the words to create a particularly good mood, with humor and musicality in the center.

Merete Bø

This year, wine journalist and author Merete Bø will be visiting. She keeps a tasting with the theme of food and wine in combination, which she has just released a book about. She has spent her entire life working on wine, including at Restaurant Cru and Bagatelle in Oslo, and has written for DN in recent years. In her latest book Innerå + Bo that she has made along with chef Kari Innerå is the wine along with Norwegian ingredients that are in focus.

This book presents the chef Kari Innerå, born and raised Innerå farm on Andørja in Troms, the very best ingredients the Norwegian nature has to offer, from scallops, crayfish and cod to lamb, artichoke, cloudberries and rhubarb. She shows us how we can use these amazing ingredients and put them together on innovative, taste rich and modern view in a variety of tempting recipes.
Merete Bo, sommelier and wine writer from Voss, suggest the perfect drink to every dish in the book, so that the sensuous and culinary experience will be complete. Innerå + Bø is a living journey into the Norwegian kitchen. The two girls take us to their home and food traditions there. The result is an inspiring manifestation of a cookbook.
